Police appeal for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Glossop.
On Tuesday, January 1 at around 1am a 28-year-old man left the Melandra Castle pub on Winster Mews and walked down Heyden Mews, onto Haddon Mews and then onto Hucklow Fold.
The man remembers walking along the pavement on Hucklow Fold but then does not remember anything until 9.30am that morning when he woke up lying on the pavement.
A witness saw the man walking along Hucklow Fold and three men approached him from behind. One of the men punched him to the back of the head.
The only description given of the men was that the one who punched him wore a hooded top with the hood worn up. One of the men had a beer bottle in his hand.
