237 Glossop to Ashton Summer / Forthcoming Changes
From Sunday 24th July, the 237 Glossop to Ashton Under Lyne service is changing to its summer timetable.
What does this mean?
The most significant change is that the daytime service will change from every 20 minutes to every half hour, along with changes to the early morning and afternoon / early evening journeys.
The evening journeys after 7 pm are also retimed to run 6 minutes later from Glossop.
Changes are also listed for the late night Friday / Saturday journeys on the 219 from Manchester to Glossop, but both the new and current times are identical showing one journey leaving Manchester at 02.40 arriving in Glossop at 03.43.
In fact, the only day with no changes to the timetable is Sunday.
You can view a copy of the timetable here: http://antmck.uk/z1
These times will then return to the previous (current times) times on Sunday 3rd September.
The next time that services will likely change after that will be at the end of October.
There are indications there could be several changes to come to local services. However, full details won’t be known on any changes until late August.
