Back to the Stotts

Back to the Stotts, apologies for mauling a classic film title, but it seems appropriate for the news that from the 30th October, the 341 Glossop to Hyde service, will be returning back to its former operators with Stotts taking over from High Peak Buses.

From the details seen so far, the service will mainly continue as currently scheduled with slight tweaks to the times (mainly 5/10 earlier than at current), with the most significant change coming to Saturday mornings with a later start, but an additional bus heading into Glossop before 9.00am – further details to follow as soon as they are confirmed – but if you think the changes may affect you please get in touch – you can do that via the details on the get in touch page by clicking here.

Unfortunately, the change of operator doesn’t change anything in terms of nights or Sunday / Bank Holiday services, the only choice for those is still the Glossop Local Link and in a chicken / egg situation if folk don’t use the local link – the figures that are used to determine what services run will never increase to a level where we will be able to get a service back at night or on Sundays – as previously mentioned if you are having any issues with accessing the service please get in touch.
