May Day Bank Holiday Buses

This coming Monday (2nd May) see the May Day bank holiday, and as usual for a bank holiday, there’s some changes to local bus services.

In terms of buses on Gamesley, there is only the Glossop Local Link running, which runs from 10.30am until 10.30pm – however please remember that you have to register and book in advance to use the service – full details available by clicking here (Glossop Local Link).

Elsewhere across Glossopdale there will just be the 236/7 (Glossop to Ashton) and the 61 (Glossop to Buxton) – all running to Sunday times, you can view details by clicking here (local bus services).

If you are using the bus (and / or train) to go either near or far or just out for a bank holiday wander, and especially if you are using more than one bus company, there are a whole host of different day tickets which may give you a cheaper option for your travels – click here for details.

For information (although we’re not effected on Gamesley) in terms of bin collections – its normal services on Monday.
