Happy 10th Anniversary Nick and Donna : A Happy 10th Anniversary, to Nick and Donna who are celebrating 10 years at the helm of Cafe Jericho.

The cafe which owes it’s history prior to Nick and Donna taking the helm to the Jericho project, has thanks to the efforts of Nick and Donna and the many volunteers over the years become a permanent fixture on Gamesley, not just offering the more traditional food and water in the form of bacon butties and more, but also a more spiritual sustenance to those that needed it when required as well.

That work continues today with a whole host of groups and activities, from crafts groups to arts, including the work of High Peak Community Arts and the summer music / drama project which has run for the last few years.

If you’re passing the shops, you can help support the cafe and its work, by calling in for a brew or something more substantial (would recommend breakfast), or if you want to get more involved I know offers of help are always welcome – it’s been a great first 10 years, here’s hoping for many more !
