Good Friday, is one of those unusual day’s for bank holidays buses in Derbyshire, with the buses in some areas of the county running more or less normally – alas that’s not the case for us on Gamesley but is the case in some parts of Glossopdale.
From Gamesley on Friday and the same again on Bank Holiday Monday there is just the 202 (Glossop to Hyde) run by Stagecoach Manchester running on Sunday times.
This means that the first bus off Gamesley towards Hyde will be 9.15am, with the first bus to Glossop at 9.45am. You can view full details by clicking here (Sunday buses to and from Gamesley).
Elsewhere across Glossopdale on Friday – the 236/7 (Glossop to Ashton) are running to Sunday times, with the 393 (Padfield – Glossop – Shirebrook Park Circular) and 390 (Shire Hill Hospital – Glossop – Whitfield) along with the 61/64 (Glossop to Buxton or Macclesfield) running to Saturday times. You can view details by clicking here (local bus services).
Saturday sees everything running as normal for a Saturday – with Monday – seeing Sunday service on just the 202 (Glossop to Hyde), 236/7 (Glossop to Ashton) and 61 (Glossop to Buxton).
