341 / 202 – Glossop to Hyde Service (Day Times)

341 / 202 – Glossop to Hyde Service (Day Times) : As many locals will be aware with effect from Monday 4th April, there will changes to the 341 / 202, Glossop to Hyde service.

One of the main change is that the company that runs the service will change from Stotts to High Peak Buses, which amongst other things unfortunately means (as far as I am aware) that a return journey to and from Glossop will get 60p dearer as High Peak Buses charge a higher price.

In addition to that change there are also changes to some journeys in the mornings on Saturday’s to Hyde, and during the week from 3pm onwards on journeys to / from Hyde.

When you see the timetable you will notice, that there are no details for evenings or Sunday, that is because there will no longer be a fixed bus service, instead the Tame Valley local link will be extended to cover the route of the 202 – However at this point (Tuesday) I still don’t have the confirmed details for how this will work but will advise the details as soon as they are received.

One further change for locals that were using the 394 / 69 to get to Chapel School, is that High Peak Buses 69A, to Chapel School is amended slightly to now run from Gamesley on school days – timetable details available by clicking here.
