Glossop Victorian Christmas 2015
This year’s Glossop Christmas Festivities gets off to a start on Saturday, with Glossopdale Trust’s ‘Not such a Silent Night’, which will see a range of Christmas music from Glossop Old Band and local primary school choirs, to warm you up for the big lights switch on at 5.00pm, when the Dark Peak Band will then accompany traditional carol signing.
Alongside the traditional carols and entertainment an extra special extended Glossop Market, will see a whole host of stalls with a wide range of Christmas gifts and ideas, running on the outdoor and indoor market, along with more entertainment and a Howard Town Brewery Bar.
In addition to the market and other festivities, the Glossop Arts Project is hosting a craft fair in Bradbury House from 10am until 2pm, with a range of handmade cards and goods, a much more available to buy in support of the project.
