Don’t Forget Gamesley – Glossop Bus Time Changes on Monday

Don’t forget that from tomorrow (Monday 14th January) morning bus times on most services are changing.

As a reminder the changes are as follows :

Service 201 – Glossop to Gamesley by High Peak Buses ([wpfilebase tag=fileurl id=6 linktext=’click here for service 201 timetable’ /])

This is a new service which will run once an hour starting with a journey from Gamesley to Glossop at 8.38 and then at 5 to the hour from 8.55 from Glossop, and 39 past the hour from 9.39 from Gamesley until 2.55 from Glossop and 3.39 from Gamesley.

Service 202 – Glossop to Gamesley via Simmondley by High Peak Buses ([wpfilebase tag=fileurl id=6 linktext=’click here for service 202 timetable’ /])

This service used to run to Charlesworth and Chisworth, but from Monday will just run as far as Gamesley.
The first journey will leave Glossop at 7.50, and Gamesley at 8.06, followed by a Glossop to Gamesley via Simmondley only journey leaving Glossop at 8.25. Further journeys via Simmondley will then leave Glossop at 25 past the hour from 9.25 and Gamesley to Glossop via Simmondley at 6 past the hour from 9.06 until 3.06pm, with a further journey from Gamesley to Glossop via Simmondley starting from Youlgreave Crescent at 3.55.

Service 394 – Glossop to Stepping Hill by High Peak ([wpfilebase tag=fileurl id=7 linktext=’click here for service 394 timetable’ /])

On Monday to Friday’s, the first journey from Glossop to Stepping Hill will now leave 5 minutes earlier, leaving Glossop at 6.40 and Gamesley at 6.49, with the first journey from Stepping Hill to Glossop now leaving 11 minutes early at 7.30 passing Gamesley at 8.14(12 minutes earlier than previous)

The 8.00 journey from Glossop to Stepping Hill will continue to run the same time as at current.

Time’s after this are significantly changed will the next journeys leaving either Glossop or Stepping Hill at 9.38 and 38 minutes past the hour after than instead of the current 20 past the hour, with the last journey in either direction leaving at 5.38

This means that the service will now pass Gamesley at 9.48 (and then 48 minutes past the hour) in the direction of Stepping Hill and 10.22 (and then 22 minutes past the hour) in the direction of Glossop.

On Saturday’s the first journey towards Glossop will leave High Lane (as per the current timetable) at 8.03 passing Gamesley at 8.36. Journeys after that will then leave either Glossop or Stepping Hill at 38 minutes past the hour from 9.38 with the last journey in either direction leaving at 4.38.

Saturday journeys will then pass Gamesley at 48 minutes past the hour towards Stepping Hill and 22 minutes past the hour toward Glossop as during the week.

As previously mentioned there are no changes to any journeys by Stotts on either the 202 or 341, and again no changes to the Stagecoach journeys on the 202 on Sunday’s (and you can see the [wpfilebase tag=fileurl id=6 linktext=’Stotts / Stagecoach timetable here’ /]).

Lastly don’t get too comfortable with the times as there are further changes coming in February !
