Don’t Forget – September Bus Changes
From tomorrow (as mentioned previously) there are a number of changes taking place to local bus services.
The most ‘severe’ locally at least are taking place to the 394, and will see a number of journey’s no longer run.
On Monday to Fridays, the 07.04 from Chisworth (07.13 on Gamesley) to Glossop and the 18.20 from Stepping Hill (19.05 on Gamesley) to Glossop will no longer run and on Saturday’s the 08.23, and 17.20 journeys from Glossop to Stepping Hill will no longer run, along with the 17.20 and 18.20 journeys from Stepping Hill to Glossop.
Additionally on Monday to Fridays the 07.41 Stepping Hill to Glossop 394 will now run (according to the timetable) round the estate – rather than straight down Glossop Road.
There’s also minor change to the High Peak 202 with the 8.04 ex Chisworth to Glossop going via Simmondley, and a new journey on school day’s from Gamesley on service 69 to and from Chapel en le Frith High School.
Further afield there’s some minor changes to the 236/7 service (you can get a copy of the timetable by clicking on the local bus services link above) along with various changes to local services in New Mills and in most of the bigger bus stations in Greater Manchester there’s a number of changes to bus stops.
