Gamesley School – Planning Application

Derbyshire County Council, have applied for planning permission at Gamesley Primary School, for the provision of 1 new temporary modular classroom unit and associated facilities to provide a double general teaching classroom with toilets and associated stores / lobby.

The building will have an overall building footprint of approx 157m², and will be located at the top end of the playground, in more or less the same location as a previous temporary classroom, that was demolished approximately 11 years ago when pupil numbers fell at the school.

The application is for an initial period of ten years advises that the classroom is needed due to increasing numbers at the school.
