Gamesley Community Centre
I’m disappointed to have heard via two of the groups currently using the Centre – that Derbyshire County Council have advised that from the end of March, they are shutting the Gamesley Youth and Community Centre on the ring road.I’ve not had any formal confirmation from the County Council so far, and I have contacted the Chief Executive of the County Council to ask for further information confirming both the closure date and why and what alternative arrangements have been made for the existing group using the centre.
As soon as I hear anything, I’ll let folks know.
