Big changes to local bus services from 15th April
As noted at the time of Speedwell’s demise earlier in the year, there was a possibility that the emergency arrangements put in place could change, and from Sunday 15th April there will be changes.
Overall where you can get to will generally remain the same – however the big changes is around the times and operators.
In terms of the changes these are as below :
Service 394 (Glossop to Stepping Hill) : No changes to the timetable and it will continue to be run by Bowers / High Peak
Service 202 Weekday mornings (Glossop to Gamesley and 1 journey to Hyde) : The early morning journeys change from Stagecoach to Stotts – at different times to the existing timetable with a new Bowers / High Peak 202 service running from Glossop to Chisworth via Simmondley and Gamesley. The existing morning 202 journey to Hyde will no longer run.
Service 341 Weekday’s (Glossop to Hyde) : This will continue to be run by Stotts, but to a completely different timetable and will no longer run via Simmondley
Service 341 Saturday’s (Glossop to Hyde) : This will continue to be run by Stotts, but to a completely different timetable and unlike the weekday service will run via Simmondley
Service 202 Weekday evenings (Glossop to Hyde) : This will now be run by Stotts instead of Stagecoach, to a similar timetable as at current but with an extra Glossop to Mottram at 7.05pm and the last journey changed from ending at Hyde to ending at Mottram.
Service 202 Saturday’s (Glossop to Hyde) : This will now be run by Stotts instead of Stagecoach with changes to the times of the first two Glossop to Gamesley journeys and in the evenings as during the week.
Service 202 Sunday’s / Bank Holiday’s (Glossop to Hyde) : No change to current timetable (as far as I can see) – and this will continue to be run by Stagecoach.

I have no details on any changes to fares at current, but will let you know if I hear of any changes.
