A bad Saturday (16th October) this weekend for both Gamesley’s first team and the reserves with the first team losing 6 – 0 away to Lostock Gralam, and reserves losing 3 – 0 at home to Greenalls Padgate ST O Reserves.
The reserves at the moment have next Saturday (23rd October) off, which will hopefully mean they can make a good come back for the Reserve League Cup first round tie that they have at home on the 30th October. The first’s however have another week away from home with an away tie to Billinge FC.
Gamesley Villa’s Saturday 13’s have no details posted yet for their home cup tie which was due to take place on Saturday. Unfortunately Gamesley Villa’s Sunday 12’s appear to have continued their run of bad luck with the league website declaring a home walkover for their away tie to Moston JFC 12’s last Sunday (17th October).
However Gamesley Villa’s 11’s continued their winning streak, with a 2 – 1 win at home to Curzon Ashton FC 11’s making it 5 wins from 5 matches, leaving them 6 points clear at the top of the table with an impressive +32 goal difference.
Next Saturday (23rd October) see Gamesley Villa 13’s away to Alkrington Dynamos 13, the Sunday 12’s at home to AFC Clayton’s 12’s kick off 10.30am and 11’s away to Moston Valley 11’s.
Correction – This Saturday (23rd October) Gamesley FC’s Reserves take their first steps in this years Derbyshire Divisional Cup with a home first round tie against Wirksworth Town – kick off 1.15pm please come along and support the team if you can.
