SFTW – Gamesley FC Fun day (Sunday 29th May)

SFTW – Gamesley FC Fun day : This Sunday from 10am sees a fun day taking place at Melandra Park, more commonly known as the home of Gamesley FC on Melandra Castle Road in aid of raising funds for Gamesley FC to make improvements to the pitch and facilities.

The Fun Day activities at the pitch will include two special football matches, one seeing a specially put together Gamesley Veterans side against a Hadfield Veterans side, the other Gamesley’s 1sts verses the seconds.

There will also be a whole host of other activities including a children’s bouncy castle, ice cream van, body waxing, glitter tatoo’s and much more. There’s also food and refreshments available.

It all starts at 10.00am and the cost of entry is for £2 adult 50p for children and any children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

If you can’t get there on Sunday you can still support it, as there’s also a raffle and name the bear, for which tickets are £1 a strip for the raffle, and 50p a go for the bear, available from Amy at Londis (and also no doubt available at tomorrow’s last match of the season against Crewe 3.00pm kick off)

The fun continues after the football and waxing back at the Bluebell with entertainment from a BBQ and Perri and The Sadface.
