LOCKDOWN FINANCIAL SUPPORT UPDATE Jan 2021
The Government has announced £4.6 billion in new lockdown grants.
The measures include:
-A one-off top-up grants for retail, hospitality and leisure businesses worth up to £9,000 per property to help businesses through to the Spring
-£594 million discretionary funds also made available to support other impacted businesses
– comes in addition to £1.1 billion further discretionary grant funding for Local Authorities
-Local Restriction Support Grants worth up to £3,000 a month and extension of furlough scheme
See the link below for further details. Please note that High Peak Borough Council has not yet received any details from Government on these grants and other information on any conditions etc. may be needed which we hope will be clarified soon.
Update 8/1/20 : Although we have had some additional details we are still awaiting the full guidance, along with details on an additional discretionary funding pot.
