Business Support Grants – update 6/4/20
At the close of business, a further 203 (£2,650,000) grants have been paid out making a total of 450 (£6,275,000) to date out of an identified 3034.
These payments will take 2 to 3 days to arrive in your bank account.
1,400 webforms with business details have been completed by close of business today.
The Council have been asked to complete a number of eligibility checks before issuing grants to eliminate the risk of fraud – businesses have been asked to allow time for this to be completed – this won’t be a lengthy process and payments will be issued as soon as possible.
Telephone contact has been attempted with approx. 75% of the businesses so far, and we continue to contact businesses to get there details.
