Business Grants Update 22/4/20

This evenings business rates support grant update.

🟥 By the close of business today a total of 1643 grants have paid out (54 up from Tuesday)

🟨 A total of £18,365,000 (up £935,000 up from Tuesday) has been paid out to date.

🟩 1,960 webforms (up 40 from Tuesday) have been submitted out of a total of approximately 2,400 eligible businesses

Our focus still is on getting the remaining grants paid, which involves two complex issues:

1. Dealing with the applications that have queries or problems

and

2. Trying to establish contact with businesses that haven’t applied

Finally, if you are a business that for whatever reason doesn’t want the grant, please can you let us know so we can cross you off the list.
