Bus Information Update January 2020
On Monday 27th January, there was a slight amendment to the evening times on the Stagecoach 237 journeys.
The change is that an additional evening journey will be added from Glossop (Shirebrook Drive) to Stalybridge (Armentieres Square) departing at 1913. I suspect that this has been added by Stagecoach to minimise the dead running between Glossop and their depot.
This weekday journey (except for on Fridays when it doesn’t run) will also operate on Saturdays at a slightly later time of 1938 from Glossop Market Arcade rather than Shirebrook. On Sundays and Bank Holidays, its departure time will be 1919 again just from Glossop Market Arcade. During the week (Mon to Thu), the 1938 journey is very close to the first of the MCT Travel’s 1943 tendered journeys, which may become a problem in the future.
