As previously advised from Monday 30th March, the 394 service will be undergoing a few changes.
Most journeys except on Saturday’s and early mornings / evenings will now run to Stockport instead of finishing at Stepping Hill Hospital – with a slight tweak from the details advised that instead of seeing the buses run straight up the A6 to Stockport Bus Station, the bus will now continue calling around Stepping Hill Hospital.
Another tweak to the previously advised details is that the afternoon missing journey on school days is now back to just missing in the direction of Glossop rather than both ways.
As before the direct connection could well be a good thing – especially with the additional journey in the mornings from Glossop at 8.38, although the new timetable does see the current 8.00/8.10 journey brought half an hour earlier to run at 7.30/7.40.
As before on Saturday’s it switches back to its current route (as a subsidized service) running to and from Stepping Hill Hospital.
