Brown Bins

Earlier this week deliveries were taking place for the new brown bins on Gamesley.

Each bin comes with a information leaflet and new ‘bin calendar’, but just in case you didn’t get one or just want a quick reference the picture on the left gives you details of what goes in each bin.

In terms of the ‘bin day’ for Gamesley, there’s no major change with all collections still taking place on a Tuesday, the only bit of note around the days is that next week (3rd July) instead of it been the recycling week (green bin etc), it will be black bins once again, with the first brown / green bin and box collection taking place on Tuesday 10th July.

If you need any additional information or want to find out about swapping or changing some of your bins – follow the details in the leaflet or give our recycling folk a call on 01298 28423. If you just have questions on the new service there’s a road-show / stall on at Glossop Carnival in Manor Park on Sunday 1st July (there was also one down for Friday at Tesco’s – but it appears to have been cancelled) or call at our shopper’s surgery on Saturday.
