Left hander’s day
Last Thursday (13th August) was this year’s Left Hander’s Day, an event which is organised by the left hander’s club , so that left hander’s can celebrate their sinistrality and increase public awareness of the advantages and disadvantages of being left-handed.
The left hander’s day website at www.lefthandersday.com list full details of events that have taken place, including details of some of the things that the left hander’s club has achieved, along with some helpful tips for parents / teachers of left handed children.
Looking through the list of famous left hander’s that is on the site, highlighted quite a topical one followed some of the recent comments on the NHS, with the details that Nye Bevan father of the NHS was a left hander.
