Friday night saw a trip to Whaley Bridge for this month's constituency
Labour Party meeting. The meeting as well as been the usual monthly get
together was also the annual general meeting, which saw no major changes as
such with one of two extra people including some new folk taking on some of
the roles on offer at the AGM.
Everyone in attendance was in very good humour, particularly for the AGM,
which was not the traditional 'dry' affair you would usually expect. The
usual monthly business followed with topics under deliberation including
(but not limited to) winter gritting, school surveys, police capping and of
course the by pass.
