Football News / Well done Glossop
Well done again to High Peak Radio for the excellent commentary on the
exciting away leg of Glossop North End's away leg in the semi final's of the
FA Vase.
Finishing up at 3 each it set's up what a hope will be thrilling home
encounter for those of us lucky enough to have a ticket to this Saturday's
deciding home tie.
If you haven't been able to get a ticket (I understand it's now sold out)
you will still be able to hear live commentary from the game on High Peak
Radio, and if last week's fight back is anything to go by, the advantage of
a large home crowd is something I'm sure will help spur Glossop North End on
to victory.
For Gamesley's first team the patchy performance of recent weeks continued
with a 3 – 1 defeat away to Pilkington, better news for the reserves who
managed a 2 – 2 tie against Rylands / Crosfields Reserves.
This week on Thursday (2nd April) evening sees home action for the reserves
with a visit from Poynton Reserves scheduled for 6.15pm kick off. This
Saturday (4th April) sees the first team at home with a 3.00pm kick off
against Trafford Reserves, with the reserves away to Garswood United
Reserves.
