Congratulations to Whitfield Labour Councillor Graham Oakley who was elected as Mayor of the High Peak on Tuesday. Graham who has been a councillor for Whitfield since the 2007 elections has previously servered as a councillor in Simmondley and was until his recent retirement a teacher at the Duke of Norfolk School in Glossop.
