Bad news for both of the Gamesley teams yesterday with the first team losing 2 – 1 away to Knutsford, and the reserves losing 4 – 3 to Linotype/Cheadle HN Reserves. Hopefully better news will come next week when the first team face Trafford Reserves at home, no game listed for the reserves yet.
No game for the first team, this week, but the reserves were finally able to play there Derbyshire Cup match, against Duckmanton Community. However unfortunately they lost the match 3 – 2, but they still have the Reserve Division Challenge Cup left, for which they are in the semi final.
There is a slight new look to the blog page, to bring into use some of the features on the new version of blogger, the main one (of interest / use at least) is the labels function which means you will be easily able to find posts on similar issue’s / subjects.
Not quite sure of the score (or if it played) for the reserves in their Derbyshire Cup Game, but the first team won 6 – 2 against Rylands at home yesterday. More football at home next Saturday when the first team are scheduled to tackle Styal.
