Today sees a range of minor changes to local bus services.
Most of the changes are just for the duration of the summer, but in some other parts of Derbyshire, the changes are permanent.

For us locally in Glossopdale, the changes affect the 237 Glossop to Ashton Under Lyne service and 394 Glossop, Gamesley to Stepping Hill Hospital services.
For the 237, the changes are Stagecoaches’ change to the summer holiday timetable, which will take effect from today until the 2nd of September.
The changes are mainly to ‘rush hour’ morning and afternoon trips. They will see journeys leaving at their usual times but arriving at their final destination up to 10 minutes earlier than at current, meaning that if you get your bus somewhere along the route, you will need to go out earlier.
You can view details of the times by clicking here and going to the 237 summer times link.
For the 394, the change is very minor and doesn’t affect or change the timetable, instead changes the start and finish point of all trips to and from Glossop to Henry Street.
Again you can view the timetable by clicking here and going to the 394 link.
