Business Grants Update 17/4/20
This evenings business rates support grant update.
🟥 By the close of business today a total of 1540 grants have paid out (39 up from Thursday)
🟨 A total of £17,215,000 £16,795,000 (up £420,000 up from Thursday) has been paid out to date.
🟩 By the end of today, 1850 web forms (up 30 from Thursday) had been submitted.
🟦 We still haven’t had applications from approximately 550 businesses that we consider are eligible for the grant. This is despite the publicity and our attempts to make contact by letter, telephone and email.
In addition, we are working through 293 applications which have various problems or issues that officers are working through to try and process.
