Gamesley Bonfire & Fireworks – Road & Bus Issues ; Just a reminder that because of tomorrow’s (Thursday’s) event there is a road closure in effect from 6.00pm until 9.00pm for Melandra Castle Road at the back of the shops.

This means that between 6.00pm until 9.00pm there will be no buses around the ring road with the nearest stops in use been on Glossop Road.

In addition the car park at the back of the shops is also closed, as it is used as the ‘grandstand’ for the event.

If the event is finished earlier it may be possible to open the road earlier.
