Glossop Library – consultation concerns
Locals who viewed the Derbyshire County Council website on Friday (5th October) will have seen an announcement entitled “Plans for new library in Glossop announced”, which sets out the latest plan from the county council for a new library in the centre of Glossop.

I’ll refrain from commenting on the details of the proposals until I know more, but last time proposals from a new library were announced – 425 days ago according to the screen shot from twitter below, I queried with the county council as to if they would be consulting with local residents on the proposals :
425 days ago, they advised as above that they wouldn’t give residents a say over plans for moving the library out of Victoria Hall – now we’re on to a new proposals at a new site, will the County Council finally consult with local residents on their proposals ?
