Executive Portfolio’s

Tonight saw the first meeting of the council’s executive since the recent council elections. Amongst the items of business were the allocation of portfolio’s (ie what area’s each exec member will be responsible for) and the details of my portfolio as deputy leader and executive member for Community Services are as follows :

· Sport, leisure and playgrounds

· Climate change
· Environmental protection
· Environmental policy
· Refuse and recycling
· Streetcare
· Grounds maintenance
· Public health
· Public toilets

· Older people
