All in all a mixed start to the season with some good wins, and one or two loses, similar in a way to the progress so far of Gamesley FC. The coming weekend sees the see’s the 12’s in league action on Saturday

For Gamesley FC it’s been a quiet few week with first team action been postponed due to the several players from the team been picked for the inter league side which played and unfortunately lost in the league’s FA Cup to Yorkshire Old Boys League.

The reserves however have been in both league and cup action securing a one all draw last Saturday against Garswood United Reserves, and the week prior to that securing their way into to the second round of the league cup with a 5 – 4 win on penalties against Greenalls Padgate ST O Reserves.

This coming Saturday (26/9) sees the first team at home to Trafford Reserves kick off 3.00pm, and the reserves away to Daten Reserves.
