Lend-A-Cam Your help needed
Entry forms are available from the High Peak Community Housing Office on Winster Mews and Glossop Town Hall, and all entries must be submitted by the 24th July 2009.
Most locals in both Gamesley and elsewhere in Glossopdale will have heard of the lend-a-cam scheme.
In case you haven’t it’s scheme where by the Safer Neighbourhood Team’s can make available a camera for usage in recording incidents such as anti social behaviour, with the footage been used by local police and other agencies to take action against those problems.
At current there are twelve cameras in operation and in order to be able to help more people the Police have put together a bid for additional funds. Now unusually for this type of bid the determining factor for how will get the funds will be how many votes are received for the proposal.
To vote on the proposal please go to http://cashback.cisonline.gov.uk and select Derbyshire, Have your say and then the High Peak Anti Social Behaviour Project and follow the instructions to vote (this link may go straight to it : http://cashback.cjsonline.gov.uk/cc.asp?area=7&mode;=vote).
Please do so if you have the time so that a better service than is already available can be offered
