Last Saturday saw the first pre season friendly take place with Gamesley playing an away friendly at the home of Halton FC in Runcorn.

Halton FC who were formed in 1958 and play in the first division of the West Cheshire League were not strong enough to overcome Gamesley, who with 2 goals from Mike Dewhurst and 1 from Andy Heath finished up 3 – 1 winners.

In the next few weeks Gamesley are playing away in Hadfield against Hollingworth, followed by an away trip to Runcorn and a home tie before the start of the new season against Mostonians.
