Forthcoming meeting
This week (as flagged previously) sees a packed week for council meetings,
starting off with a meeting of the corporate select committee this evening
(Tuesday 3rd March) which will consider reports on performance indicators,
investors in people, surplus land disposal programme along with confidential
reports on the Pavilion Arts Centre and the management arrangements.
Wednesday (4th March) evening sees an early meeting of the council's
executive to consider the confidential items reviewed by the corporate
select committee, followed by a meeting of the Council's Regeneration Select
Committee which will consider reports on transport and access improvements
in the High Peak, High Peak Regeneration Delivery Plan and an assessment of
the economic downturn.
Thursday evening (5th March) sees the full council meeting which will a
number of recommendation from the council's executive including the budget,
along with the council tax and a motion on the waste and recycling contract
from the Lib Dems.
Next Monday (9th March) will see a meeting of the council's environment
select committee which will consider reports on the work of the congestion
charge committee, updates on waste and recycling along with a progress
report on the join clean team and changes to the street trading consent
policy.
