Next to One-Stop – Planning Application HPK/2023/0113

A new planning application for the empty unit next to One Stop has been submitted.

The application seeks to amend one of the conditions of the recently approved application (HPK/2022/0428) to convert the empty unit into a pizza place.

As part of the conditions of the approved application, officers considered the one objection submitted and set limits to the opening hours.

The maximum opening hours approved in the original application were 7 am until 10 pm Monday to Saturday and 9 am until 10 pm Sundays and Bank Holidays.

However, the applicant has decided that these hours do not meet their requirements and have submitted a new application to amend the hours to meet their needs.

The new application seeks to change the hours from those approved to 12.00 noon – 11.00 pm Sunday – Thursday and 12.00 noon – 1.00 am Friday – Saturday.

The applicants flag that this reduces the approved number of hours. However, residents living nearby may be concerned by the later opening.
