Architecture #photo101
Yesterday, I was on a visit to Sheffield for a seminar over tenant engagement and how this can be improved, and as the venue for the seminar was just outside of the city centre, I had a quick chance for a look round on the way back, viewing amongst other things the two sights above, which neatly fit in to today’s theme of ‘Architecture’.
Now whilst the top image is not strictly on topic, as it’s most likely more a chance use of the buildings wall than a designed purpose, the second image of the structure built on the entrance to Sheffield Station is, both showing important parts of Sheffield’s heritage in a sense with the water representing the pennies, and the steel of the structure itself the source of some of Sheffield’s history.
