This coming Sunday (24th August) in the Friendship Pub in Glossop from 12 noon until 12 midnight, Howard Town Ward Councillor Colin Waudeis undertaking a 12 hour disco marathon, to raise funds for High Peak Women’s Aid.
If you’ve not heard of High Peak Women’s Aid before, they are a local charity based in Glossop that was established in 1979, who are working to end domestic violence against adults and children.
Like many similar organisations their work is vital, but the opportunities for funding are limited so any support they can get helps them to continue their work.
