The week ahead – 19th November to 25th November
Monday sees a meeting of the Community Select Committee, this time at the Pavilion Garden’s in Buxton, items up for discussion include a presentation from the North West Ambulance Service, a review of the council’s initative fund and an update on waste collection and recycling. Wednesday sees a ‘5 ways to weelbeing’ event in Glossop’s Bradbury House, which is aimed at making local community groups aware of the ‘5 ways’ along with seeing if there are project that fit in with the ‘ways’ and if there ways to develop those and interested local groups further.
Wednesday evening sees a meeting of the council’s Regeneration Select Committee which is meeting in Glossop’s Municipal Buildings, amongst the items up for discussion are local plan, Woods Mill and the Growth and Infastructure Bill, and you can view the papers for the Regeneration Select Committee here
Thursday sees a very early start for a trip to County Hall at Matlock for the latest member workshop on the Derbyshire Waste Management Strategy, followed back home by the Gamesley Community Awards.
Friday sees this month High Peak Labour Party meeting, with Saturday morning seeing the last ‘shoppers surgery’ of the year in the Glossop Market Arcade from 10.00 until 11.30am, with finally on Sunday afternoon the High Peak Womens Aid Candle Lit Vigil on Norfolk Square.
