Shake on it ?
Many High Peak Community Housing Tenants will have received today a card through the post inviting them to attend one of the “Shake on it” events that were taking place across the High Peak, the only one of which in Glossopdale area took place on Tuesday.
High Peak Community Housing have advised that the mailing was delayed due to problems with the Royal Mail, who from the details advised lost the mailing and couldn’t trace it.
The delivery once found shouldn’t have being delivered due to the date the problem was found, out but alas it has being, the good news in a sense is that there is no charge being made for the mailing (aside of course from the cost of printing the mailing).
I had previously on hearing about these events, raised concerns that there wasn’t a local event taking place, and I raised those concerns again at a meeting this week, and I’ve being advised that this is being looked at. In addition work has being done since the post problem has come to light to contact tenants who had expressed an interest in attending this type of one off meeting.
In the meantime the survey’s that form the bulk of the consultation part of these events, which are aimed at looking at how tenants would like to see services delivered in the future, will be available to fill in from HPCH offices on Monday and on the HPCH website now (www.HPCH.co.uk).
