Earth Hour

As flagged up previously last Saturday from 8.30pm until 9.30pm was Earth
Hour, when for the theme this year people were encouraged to place a vote
for the earth and against congestion charge by turning their lights off for
the hour.

As noted a wide variety of public landmarks took place including local
attractions such as the Manchester Wheel and MEN Arena. Further details

I did try to take a few of my own photo's during the hour but with the
camera flash, it look's no different than with the lights on ! However as
flagged above on the website there are photo's of elsewhere across the world
including spectacular images of land marks such as Big Ben and the Sydney
Opera House with the lights out.
