Policing priorities
Derbyshire Police are starting a consultation process on what residents within Derbyshire want the Police to focus on during the coming year.
The questions ask local residents to prioritise policing themes such as reducing crime, drugs, road safety and community policing, these priorities as determined by local residents will then be used set the objectives and performance targets used to access how well the police are performing during the forthcoming year.
The way the Police are consulting with local people this year is by way of a online questionnaire on the Police Authority’s website which is available for completion until Sunday 28th January.
The questions used in the online questionnaire will also be used as part of this year’s ‘Have Your Say’ consultation, which will be run by the Police Authority at a number of venues across Derbyshire from February.
To take part in the survey go to www.derbyshire.police.uk/policeauthority/9.html and fill in the online questionnaire. Dates for the ‘Have Your Say’ events will listed on the blog when available.
