High Peak Local Plan – Last chance to have your say
The consultation period for the draft Local Plan for High Peak draws to a close at 5.00pm on Monday 23rd June.
The Local Plan and its associated documents allocate sites across the High Peak for new homes and businesses that are needed up to 2031 and explains how new jobs will be supported and how the environment will be protected.
The current version that is out for consultation is the final public consultation on the draft Plan before it get submitted it to a ‘Independent Government Planning Inspector.’
The consultation period has ran since the 23rd April and leaflets were sent out to all houses in the High Peak to explain the process.

Draft Local Plan for High Peak
All the comments that are received during the consultation period will be sent to the Government Inspector that considers the Local Plan.
The draft Local Plan and consultation response forms along with many of the background and supporting documents, information and guidance on how to make representations are also available for inspection at all libraries in High Peak and at council offices at Glossop Municipal Buildings and Buxton Town Hall.
