Since April 2016, the 202 from Glossop to Hyde no longer runs in the evenings (Monday to Saturday), or all day Sunday / Bank Holidays.
Glossop Local Link Service Area
Local Link as detailed previously is listed on the TFGM website, as :
Local Link is a low-cost, flexible, accessible transport service that ‘fills the gaps’ where other public transport options are limited or not available.
The service operates in those areas of Greater Manchester where there is a need. Local Link is available to anyone living or working in these areas – there are no age or disability restrictions.
It is necessary to register before using the service.

Once registered, you then need to book to travel in advance, you can do this via the website or by phone (tel 0161 200 6012).
If you book online – you need to book 24 hours in advance, and if you book via the phone (in theory) a minimum of an hour before your journey – but I would recommend where possible the day before.
The service runs from 6.00pm Monday to Saturday until 10.00pm and on Sunday’s, from 6.00am until 10.00pm.
The call centre (tel 0161 200 6012) to book journeys or register is open from 8.00am until 8.00pm.
