The former Centurion – further update
The former Centurion – further update : Following on from yesterday’s update on the former Centurion with details of amendments for the exterior of the Centurion, an additional planning application has been identified on the council’s planning system.
Planning application HPK/2015/0640, (as opposed to the one advised yesterday – HPK/2015/0637) seeks permission to extend the former ‘off licence – kitchen’ area of the pub (as pictured above) effectively doubling the size of the current building (the former ‘off licence – kitchen’ area), to be able to add a third retail unit to the building.
You can see details of the application (HPK/2015/0640) on the council’s website by clicking here, and if you want to comment on the application click here for details on how you can comment, along with what issues you can raise in any comments. This application (at current) as with the previous application is currently listed as been dealt with via officer delegation, rather than going before the development control committee.
In terms of what the changes are, the image below shows the current situation :
with the below image showing the future layout – but only for this application (the changes for the other application are not included in the image) :
Finally to give you an idea of the size of the extension along with change to the service yard area, the below image shows the current and proposed site layout :
So this application, when read in conjunction with the previous application (if all approved) would complete the conversion of the pub to 3 units. If you have any views on the proposed changes, please get in touch.
